C’est avec grande joie que l’Espace de la diversité (EDLD) annonce la mise sur pieds d’un programme de résidences pour écrivain.es en partenariat avec la résidence Dentro la Terra, située dans la région d’Abruzzo, Italie. Grâce à cette initiative, deux auteurs-trices seront accueilli.es à Dentro la Terra en septembre 2022.
La date limite pour poser votre candidature est le 13 juin, à 17h.

It is with great pleasure that the Diversity District-Espace de la diversité (EDLD) announces the launching of a residency program for writers, in collaboration with the residency Dentro la Terra, located in the Abruzzo region, in Italy. This program will allow two writers to be accommodated in Dentro la Terra in September 2022.
The deadline to apply to the program is June 13th, at 5 PM.
OBJECTIFS DE LA RÉSIDENCE EDLD-DENTRO LA TERRA:

Soutenir les auteurs-trices de divers horizons, issu.es de communautés ou de groupes marginalisé.es (écrivain.es racisé.es, afrodescendant.es, autochtones, LGBTQ+) en leur ouvrant un espace de création inspirant, ainsi que les conditions et les moyens d’écrire en toute liberté.

Offrir à ces écrivain.es souvent confronté.es à l’exclusion, l’aliénation, la précarité et au déracinement l’occasion de créer des liens humains, découvrir d’autres façons de vivre, entamer des conversations et des échanges féconds avec des artistes, et des communautés qui ont d’autres histoires, imaginaires et visions du monde.

Enraciner l’écriture et la création dans une relation plus saine avec la terre.

THE EDLD-DENTRO DE LA TERRA RESIDENCY OBJECTIVES

To support the authors from marginalized and diverse backgrounds including BIPOC, racialized, LGBTQ+ writers by giving them access to an inspiring creative space and providing them with all the conditions needed to write freely.

Providing these authors, often subject to exclusion, alienation, precarity and uprooting, with an opportunity to form social bonds, discover other ways of life, and partake in fertile conversations and exchanges with artists and communities with different histories, imaginaries, and visions of life.

Rooting literature and creation in a healthier relationship with the earth.
